Field record, not a booking site

Before you drink, know
who's pouring.

Retreats Explorer tracks ayahuasca retreat centers across Latin America and records what we can verify about intake, safety, facilitators, and integration — so the decision is yours to make with real information, not marketing copy.

Most listings are currently unverified — compiled from public sources, not yet confirmed directly with each center. Independent verification is next.

01 — Intake

Does the center screen you, or just take your money?

A responsible center asks about medications, cardiac and psychiatric history, and current medications like SSRIs or MAOIs before confirming your booking — not on arrival.

02 — Safety

Who's present, and how far is help?

Facilitator-to-guest ratio, a sober sitter during ceremony, and a real plan for medical emergencies matter more than the setting's beauty.

03 — Facilitators

Whose lineage, and can it be checked?

"Shaman" is not a credential. We look for verifiable apprenticeship, community standing, and a track record beyond the center's own testimonials.

04 — Integration

What happens after the ceremony ends?

The days and weeks after matter as much as the ceremony itself. Centers with no integration plan are sending you home to process alone.
